In
order to support as many of our New Brunswick Archers as possible
at all competitions, the AANB has developed the following strategy
in hopes of developing a plan which will support our top Archers
at all levels of archery competitions.
PURPOSE
1)
To encourage the development of proficient FITA or 3D Archers
in New Brunswick.
2) To develop a team approach whereby New Brunswick Archers work
together to achieve success.
3) To support local Archery clubs by attendance at their FITA
or 3D shoots.
4) To field a strong team for participation in the Canadian Target
and Field Championships.
5) To help provide funding for shooters dedicated to the Provincial
Program and National Competition.
RATIONALE
There
are a number of items that are important to the growth of FITA
and 3D Archery in New Brunswick.
1. Local clubs must continue hosting FITA and 3D shoots and they
must be financially rewarded for the work they do.
2. We must make an effort to send the best possible Archers to
the Nationals and the Canada Games.
3. While keeping this in mind we want to send Archers to the Nationals
who are committed to FITA or 3D Archery and who will be good ambassadors
for AANB at National events.
4. We want to acknowledge the people who by their participation
are supporting the local club shoots. We want the club shoots
to be challenging enough to develop the skill levels of our shooters.
5. We want to use the available funding to its maximum benefit
by sending the greatest number of shooters possible to the Nationals.
