EVALUATION CRITERIA

HIGH PERFORMANCE ATHLETIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM


The primary function of the New Brunswick High Performance Athletic Assistance Program is to provide financial assistance to athletes, who are near or have the potential to become members of their National Team and/or reach carded status, in order to assist them in their training and competition needs.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for assistance, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a member of the National Excellence Program.
  • Be a member in good standing of their Provincial Sport Organization (P.S.O.).
  • Represent New Brunswick when competing at National tournaments.
  • Develop and submit a training and competition plan prepared with the assistance of an NCCP Certified Level 111 coach.
  • Be training under one National or Provincial high performance training seminar during the year whenever possible.


This program is available to Senior and Junior Archers in both Olympic and Unlimited Compound categories, as well as Cadets (Age 14 and 15) shooting in the Junior or Senior category.
