Officials Update / Training Clinic

When : Saturday , February 6th , 2010
Where: Miramichi Archery Club , Miramichi
Time: 10 am to 3:30 pm
Cost: $10 each

Who should attend:
Safety Officers wanting to become Local Judges
Local Judges wanting to become Provincial Judge Candidates
Provincial Judge Candidates part of training
Provincial and greater Judges- maintain certification

Local Judges wanting to become Provincial Judge Candidates must submit completed questionnaires (available on the FCA website – Judges section) ( target, 3D indoor and outdoor ) before the clinic

Current Provincial Judges and above- please note that to maintain your certification you must attend an update clinic once every three ( 3 ) years – this was implemented in 2007, so this is the last year for maintaining certification for a few current judges.

Archery New Brunswick is affiliated with the Federation of Canadian Archers coaching program.

Note: Any club who has at least 10 archers interested in become a coach can make arrangements to have a clinic hosted in their area by e-mailing Bill Haining

The portfolio consists of the following.

5 coach evaluations:
3 from the athletes or the parents of the athletes they are coaching.
2 from the administration of their club.

1 practice plan: (what and how do you practice this session)

1 emergency action plan: (steps to take to get emergency help to your location)

1 observation plan: (where and what to observe when looking for correct shooting form or shooting faults)

I have copies of these portfolio sheets that I can send to you by mail or email. You can make as many copies as needed.
